Afro Hair & Beauty LIVE 2019

Europe’s biggest and best exhibition for people of colour is around the corner. Afro Hair & Beauty LIVE 2019 will be held this Spring Bank Holiday at the Business Design Centre 52 Upper Street Islington London N1 0QH.

Looking for something new, different, bold and fly here’s a sneak peek of what to expect. New products, live demonstrations, industry trends and so much more. Shop the largest selection of international and independently owned hair, beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands for people of colour.

Come along and join the ultimate hair and beauty experience where you can be pampered head to toe. The place will be buzzing with makeovers, amazing hair and fashion shows and much more.

This is the only place that you will find award-winning hairdressers under one roof giving one-to-one advice, specialist make-up artists on-hand to work their make-up magic and get a facial from qualified beauticians.

With many of the industry leaders exhibiting at Afro Hair & Beauty LIVE, you will be able to interact with your favourite brands and see first-hand the latest product innovation. Visit the stands to shop, try products and see live demos.


Inclusivity takes centre stage in the AHBL fashion space. DIVERSITY19 by Haiti73 Agency tackles beauty standards. Celebrating black hairstyling and a strong inclusive cast of models in all shapes, sizes and ages supported by glam team Josh Hair & SO Aesthetic Makeup. Twenty stalls featuring arts & crafts, accessories, and new designers including Nzingha, Kelis Africa, Beauty of LDN & Cowrie Design.


DIVERSITY19 panel discussion covers Beauty and the Myth, Fitness, What About Curves and How to Grow Your Online Business. Don’t miss the half-time performance by Chantell Nandi (ITV The Voice 2018).

Hustle 💙 Motivate Seminar Series

This isn’t a sprint it’s a marathon 🏁.  #ABHL2019 seminar space presents discussions that will empower your knowledge and understanding of the Black Hair & Beauty industry. Founders Talk is the Q&A session for future hair & beauty founders. Help is on hand to get you started and learn about what it takes to get started in the industry. Knowledge grows by sharing.
