March 8th was a day dedicated to celebrating women’s successes and achievements; so which WOMAN inspires You?
I have so many names on my list to count but there are Inspirational WOMEN (both young and old) who have continuously made an Impact and still determined to make a difference in today’s society. I can write long essays on this topic but I decided to keep it short and sweet!
With the International Women’s Day with theme being #BalanceForBetter; it focuses on how WE can build a better world by creating gender-balanced institutions, media and workplaces.
Balance is not a women’s issue, it’s a business issue.
The race is on for the gender-balanced boardroom, a gender-balanced government, gender-balanced media coverage, a gender-balance of employees, more gender-balance in wealth, gender-balanced sports coverage. I see Balance as driving a better working world. The future is exciting at the thought of building a gender-balanced world. In today’s society, everyone has a part to play – from grassroots activism to worldwide action, WOMEN are entering an exciting period of history where the world expects balance.

The 2019 #BalanceforBetter campaign doesn’t end on International Women’s Day, it runs all year long. The campaign theme provides a unified direction to guide and galvanize continuous collective action, with #BalanceforBetter activity reinforced and amplified all year.
